In a fascinating turn-around to be studied in business schools across the country, formerly dead and dying Gamestop has just unveiled its new project to the masses. An NFT exchange with the purpose of trading digital assets originating from video games. This has the potential to revolutionize the gaming world as we know it! Having centered itself in the industry through strategic partnerships (some named below), GamestopNFT is uniquely positioned to thrive even in a crypto winter.

Immutable X is a Layer 2 on the Ethereum network providing environmentally-friendly, low-cost, fast transactions while maintaining the integrity of Ethereum’s security. IMX also leverages an open order book, meaning selling an item in one game will show up for sale in another game or marketplace. This can have huge implications for the future of digital assets.
Gamestop has also partnered with Loopring to provide roll-up and DEX services within the Gamestop Wallet to bring down gas costs while maintaining security.
So, it sounds cool and all but is it?
